At Senior Choice Home Care, we have numerous opportunities for Homemakers/Caregivers. The Homemaker provides non-professional/non-medical household services necessary to meet the families’ needs, and comfort needs of our home care clients.

Qualifications:
You should have the ability to recognize the special needs of elderly clients and others in the home and be able to communicate with the client and their families in an effective, mature and caring manner. Individual must be dependable, responsible, exhibit a pleasant personality and have neat appearance. Valid drivers license and automotive liability insurance required.

Responsibilities: The Homemaker is responsible for non-medical support and living assistance services including:

	Providing meal preparation, light housekeeping and related home activities to elderly clients in their homes.
	Ability to handle many different situations and be sensitive to the many different behaviors that can be exhibited by seniors experiencing changes in their lives.
	Record all progress and provide daily notes of activities
	Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, or financial conditions of the client.
	Must posses the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and interact professionally with client families
	Must posses a strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of Senior Choice Home Care.
	Ability to work flexible hours as required meeting identified client’s needs.
	Absolute integrity and use of good judgment to handle the professional and confidential nature of assignments.
	Speaks, writes, reads, and comprehends English language.
